AB  - Down’s syndrome (DS) is the most common chromosomal abnormality seen in live born children and it is the most common genetic cause of intellectual disability. It is associated with abnormalities in many body systems, some of which can cause life threatening complications. This article aims to cover the important aspects to cover when seeing children with DS for their routine follow-up in the neurodevelopmental or general paediatric clinic.
