Study design

Post hoc secondary analysis of the participants recruited to the Copenhagen Prospective Studies on Asthma in Childhood 2010 (COPSAC2010) study. The researchers and dental examiner were blinded to treatment allocation. Participants were randomised using computer-generated random numbers.

Study question

To determine the effects of high-dose vitamin D supplementation in pregnant women, on enamel defects in their offspring.
