Study design
Open label, randomised controlled non-inferiority study. Allocation: central randomisation by computerised random number generator. Setting: 17 primary health centres in Sweden. Intervention: randomised to either Penicillin V 800mg four times per day for 5 days (total 16g) or Penicillin V 1000mg three times per day for 10 days. (total 30g).
