Cerebral imaging is mandated to further evaluate the symptoms of raised intracranial pressure (ICP) before proceeding to LP. MRI may be most appropriate: being more sensitive at detecting areas of demyelination or abnormalities of cerebral blood flow, with negligible radiation burden.1

This selected image from a T2-weighted transaxial MRI sequence shows periventricular white matter changes in both hemispheres with well-preserved grey/white matter differentiation and normal grey matter signal return.
